Game of Thrones Creator's Assistant Working With Telltale Games

The Game of Thrones series is one of the most popular TV shows to date. This is evident in the fact that it's the most pirated series for years. And when telltale announced that it will tackle the Game of Thrones series and make an episodic adventure out of it, much like their famed Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us series, fans could only have been happier. 


In a recent profile about Telltale's upcoming projects, The mentioned that the assistant of one George R.R. Martin - the shows creator - is helping the game developers with the making of the game. With the game still in pre-production, much is still to be done and with the help of his assistant working as a consultant for Telltale, We can be assured of a top quality product. 

There are only a handful of companies that provide gamers with this still-new genre of story-telling. In fact, some may believe that these episodic "games" are more of a new kind of media blending in games, books and TV rather than just plain old video games. More developers should strive to make these kind of story-focused episodic adventures. It has proved to be a huge success for Telltale games, I don't see why other developers can't do the same.
