How to Subscribe to Other Country's PS Plus

So let's say you just bought yourself a Playstation Console, be it the Vita, PS3 or PS4 and one of the reasons you got it was because you wanted to subscribe to PS Plus. And you've been researching on the various instant game collections that the PS Plus offers. Well here's what they don't tell you. Different regions get different PS Plus deals. Meaning, A subscriber of UK's PS Plus might get Uncharted 3 while subscribers for US PS Plus will get another game which may or may not be better. That's how it works with the different regions of PS Plus. Each region gets it's own deal.

Unfortunately, Some deals - no matter which month - are just not as good as another country's *cough* Asia ps plus *cough*. Well here's a simple tutorial to how you can subscribe to the PS Plus regions that you want!

Create a new PSN account!

Now if you're planning on subscribing to another country's PS Plus and you're using a PS3, it's simple. Just make yourself a new PSN profile account and fill it out everything as normal, except for the region. Input your region as the country's PS Plus that you want to subscribe to. In other words, if you're from Korea and you want to get the UK PS Plus, then put your region as UK. However, since the PS Vita is locked to only 1 PSN account. You're going to have to either buy a new memory card and make a new PSN account there or format your existing memory card which means wiping out your existing games as well.

Obviously you're going to need an address that matches the region of your new PSN account. So just go to a random address generator (this is for UK addresses. For other countries, simply google it) . If you want to play it safe, try ask a friend to use their address who lives in that region. It doesn't matter anyways, because you won't be using this address for anything. (At least I don't use my random address).

So now the question is "So how do I subscribe to that region's PS Plus?".

It's simple. Once you've made a new account and put in the random address to complete making the account, All you have to do is go to a gaming digital distribution site that sells PS Plus vouchers for that region. In my case, I'm from Asia and I'm subscribed to the UK PS Plus, I get the PS Plus vouchers by going to game.co.uk. You can use your credit card (and no, you don't need a fake billing address for this one) to buy the voucher and they'll send you an email with the code.

Once you receive the email with the code, all you need to do is input that code in the Playstation Store while using your new account. There you go! you've subscribed to a different region's PS Plus.

I subscribed to the UK Ps Plus (while I'm from Asia) because they have better free games for the PS3 and the Vita. Yes it's more expensive than the Asia Ps Plus price but the awesome instant game collection make it a worthy purchase.
