Child of Light: The RPG Everyone SHOULD Know But Doesn't

Child of Light has been marked as "Ubisoft's Secret jRPG weapon", Reading that headline made me wonder, "Wow, It's going to take A LOT for Western games to live up to the jRPG style, does Child of Light really have what it takes?" I got curious. And after watching several gameplay videos and the trailer, I found myself saying "it might just be".

More Games Should Be Backed On Kickstarter



Ever since I've heard of the now-popular crowd-funding site, Kickstarter, that lets almost anyone back a project that they think would be successful, I thought about the possibilities that could arise from this. Games, Movies, Short Films, they were now a very real possibility for average joes like you and me. Because of crowd-funding sites like Kickstarter, content creators - be it games or movies or books - don't need the approval (and sometimes, scrutiny) that usually come with big-time producers.

The Swapper (PC) - Review


Looking at The Swapper cover art, The game didn't look particularly appealing to me but I still wanted to try it out. At first I thought it was another survival horror game that would give me some mild jump-scares (which I hated). Then came Humble Bundle 11 featuring The Swapper among other good Indie games. And for the price of whatever-I-wanted, Naturally, I tried it out.

Guacamelee! (PS Vita) - Review



It's been said time and time again that 2013 was where the indie scene really started to go somewhere releasing some of the most innovative and unique gaming experiences that the indie developers could offer. From short 3 hour games to solving mind-bending puzzles, who knew that the one game that would make it to the top of the giant indie mountain would be a simple action platformer developed by Drinkbox Studios, Guacamelee!. Guacamelee! is out for the PC, PS Vita, PS3 and soon will be released in PS4 and Xbox One.
